Once again, Colormaker Industries has proven themselves as the go-to specialists for eco-friendly paint and coating. Last night, on 9 December, they were recognised as a standout sustainability leader on the state stage, named a Finalist in the 2025 NSW Sustainability Awards under the SME Sustainable Leadership category.
The NSW Sustainability Awards – delivered in partnership with the Banksia Foundation and the NSW Government, through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) – entered their 5th year of celebrating excellence in sustainability, from climate to biodiversity, technology, business, marketing and tourism. Over the years, these awards have become one of Australia’s most respected platforms for acknowledging organisations that demonstrate innovation, measurable impact, and a commitment to creating a more sustainable future.
In acknowledging Colormaker’s achievement, the Banksia Foundation praised the company’s commitment to meaningful environmental action. “Your work stood out for its impact, clarity, and ambition – exactly the kind of leadership Australia needs right now,” the organisation shared.
For the Northern Beaches–based manufacturer, the honour reflects years of focused innovation and a collective effort to embed sustainability across its operations. Being named among such an inspiring cohort of changemakers only deepened the team’s sense of pride.
The awards ceremony took place at the Australian National Maritime Museum, where colleagues, industry leaders, and community innovators gathered to celebrate progress toward a more sustainable future. Colormaker Industries extended warm congratulations to fellow finalist and category winner Pablo & Rusty’s, a coffee company known for its strong sustainability ethos.
