Boards waxed, teams of four, and a whole beach cheering from the sand. The Lifeline Surf Classic, presented by Beecraft, returns for its 9th year on Sunday 22 November.
Queenscliff, at the northern end of Manly Beach, hosts the day. It’s a tag-team surf competition with a twist: every wave caught helps keep vital support close to home.
Tag, You’re It
Teams of four take turns in the water, with surfers of all ages and abilities paddling out alongside some of the Beaches’ best. Expect plenty of action, a few spectacular wipeouts and a crowd right behind every rider.
You don’t need to be on a board to be part of it. Bring the family, pick a team and make some noise from the sand.
Making Waves for Lifeline
Teams fundraise in the lead-up to the event, and every dollar supports Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli. Funds go towards Lifeline’s national 24/7 Crisis Support line and the local counselling, support groups and community services the organisation has provided since 1968.
Back a team, give what you can and help them hit their target. Feeling brave? Gather three mates and register a team of your own.
