James Griffin MP Encourages Local Organisations to Tap Into Grants

Member for Manly, James Griffin MP, is urging local schools, community groups and organisations to apply for the NSW Government’s 2026/27 Infrastructure Grants program (Clubgrants Category 3).

The NSW Government offers grants to communities across NSW to support the building, renovation and fit-out of a wide range of community infrastructure.

“I know there are some outstanding community infrastructure projects seeking funding across the Manly area, and I encourage local organisations and schools to take advantage of this program which is delivering grants from $50,000 up to $300,000,” Mr Griffin said.

These grants are made possible by re-investing a portion of profits made from registered clubs’ gaming machines directly into community projects.

Funding is available for infrastructure projects in four areas:

-      Arts & Culture

-      Community Infrastructure

-      Disaster Readiness

-      Sport & Recreation

Applications open at 9am (AEST) Monday 27 July 2026 and will close 11:59pm (AEST) Monday 17 August 2026.

To ensure your funding request has the best chance of success, Mr Griffin is encouraging local organisations and prospective applicants to familiarise themselves with the program information, read the Infrastructure Grants FAQs page and review the sample application form before applying.
