Reel Rock

For over 20 years, Reel Rock has captivated audiences with electrifying climbing films, showcasing jaw-dropping ascents and the human stories behind them. Founded in 2005 by acclaimed filmmakers Josh Lowell, Peter Mortimer, and Nick Rosen, Reel Rock tours annually with award-winning films that reveal the passion, grit, and determination of the world’s most daring climbers, inspiring adventurers everywhere.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show
2–4 May | 18 months and older, plus their families
One of the most famous children’s books of all time, The Very Hungry Caterpillar comes to life in a masterful theatrical experience for children aged 18 months and older and their adults. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the show features over 75 magical puppets, including the beloved caterpillar, and an Australian cast who bring these cherished stories from page to stage with creativity, warmth, and wonder.

1984 by George Orwell
15–17 May | 15 years and older
Strap in for an electrifying take on George Orwell’s 1984 from the award-winning minds at Shake & Stir (Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, Animal Farm, Dracula). Winston Smith dares to rebel, committing the ultimate crime. Discovered and imprisoned, he fights for freedom against The Party and Big Brother. Kermond’s Short & Sweet

A Sunday soirée like no other! From the producers of SPIEGELESQUE, Short & Sweet is a high-energy spectacle bridging the gap from Frank Sinatra to Robbie Williams, where song, dance, slapstick, and comedy collide. Get ready for a ‘laughing room only’ as dynamic duo Wayne Scott Kermond and son Alexander ‘Zan’ Kermond take to the stage in this generational romp. As fourth- and fifth-generation performers, their chemistry is electric and captivates and delights audiences everywhere.

Jekyll & Hyde and The Trojan War
20–23 May
A Slightly Isolated Dog brings two wildly entertaining reimaginings of classic tales to Glen Street Theatre: Jekyll & Hyde and The Trojan War. Theatrical magic, wicked pop songs, and razor-sharp wit collide in The Trojan War, a raucous retelling of Troy’s tragic fall. Gods, heroes, and fate unravel in a playful exploration of life’s chaos. Meanwhile, Jekyll & Hyde delivers a madcap take on the most delightfully evil man alive, one who drop-kicks puffins and yells ‘shark!’ at the beach! You’ll love both!

Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

Australia’s most iconic comedy tour is back for its 27th year. The 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is hitting the road, bringing quality humour straight to Glen Street Theatre. Featuring a dynamic mix of comedy legends and rising stars, this year’s Roadshow guarantees nonstop laughs.
