A box of groceries. A few festive treats. A family that gets to sit down to a proper Christmas meal.
One Meal Northern Beaches is calling on locals to fill a Christmas hamper this year and help make the season a little brighter for people and families doing it tough.
Pack It, Drop It, Done
Families, friends, workplaces and community groups can pick up a flat box, fill it with groceries and Christmas goodies, then drop it back. Short on time? Make a donation instead and One Meal’s volunteers will fill a hamper on your behalf.
Register or find out more at onemeal.org.au/hampers.

Hunger Close to Home
Food insecurity keeps climbing with the cost of living, and Foodbank reports one in three households are now affected. A sudden change in circumstances, fleeing domestic violence or simply not making ends meet on a low income can put anyone in that position, right here on the Beaches.

For the Community, by the Community
One Meal is a volunteer-run charity that turns rescued surplus food into fresh, nutritious meals and grocery hampers. It runs free community meals, an outreach service for rough sleepers, open pantries and home-delivered meals, and partners with local schools, community groups and housing providers to get food where it’s needed.
The numbers say it all: more than 50,000 meals a month, powered by more than 1,000 volunteers.
Give This Christmas
Grab a box, fill it up, or let One Meal do the shopping for you. Either way, someone on the Beaches gets a better Christmas.
