Scotland Island Dog Race

A Christmas Eve classic, the Scotland Island Dog Race is part swim, part paddle and all heart. Locals and their dogs cross Pittwater to the cheers of the crowd, celebrating community and holiday spirit in true Beaches style. Entry: one longneck (cold!) and one large tin of dog food. Bring your sense of humour, and maybe a towel.
