Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay invites members and families to enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled day out at The Basin in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Settle in for a classic club picnic with a BBQ sausage sizzle lunch cooked by the Club’s friendly directors, plus a full afternoon of games and on-water activities. Expect sack and relay races, tug of war, the ever-popular egg and spoon race, along with stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and BIC sailing, weather permitting.

Adults: $20
Kids: $10
Tickets include entry to The Basin and return ferry transport to and from the Club.
What to Bring
Please note there are no shops at The Basin. The Club will provide entertainment and a BBQ sausage sizzle, but members are asked to bring:
Picnic blankets or chairs, snack food, swimwear, towels, sunscreen, hats and refreshments.

9:00am Meet at the Club for ferry boarding
9:30am Ferry departs RMYC
10:30am Arrive at The Basin
11:15am Games and races begin
12:15pm BBQ lunch
1:30pm Dinghy races and afternoon activities
3:30pm Ferry departs The Basin, event concludes
Ferry Information
The ferry departs from the RMYC break wall at 9:30am sharp and returns from The Basin at 3:30pm. Please arrive early to allow time for boarding.
