Getting here wasn't easy. Customers didn't understand what made Hoselink different at first, and Tim calls the decade that followed the "go broke" years. The turnaround came when he and his daughter Sally demonstrated the system live on the Kerri-Anne Kennerley Show. The phones started ringing and they haven't really stopped since.

Nearly 30 years on, Hoselink is still a Brookvale family business, now run by Sally and her brother James. Its fittings carry a three-year warranty, and its Australian-built reel launched in September 2024, shaped by 15 years of customer feedback.
