For Wattle Court Sydney North, 2025 has been big. Big builds, big milestones, and an even bigger sense of pride. With every home, every client, and every collaboration, the team has strengthened its foundation, refined its signature coastal style and cemented its reputation as one of the region’s most trusted builders.
“We know the area, the land, and the council requirements,” Wattle Court Sydney North Business Director Melissa Lueckl says. “That’s why we lead in this space and why our clients feel a sense of pride when the signature Wattle Court green banners are placed out the front of their property.”
Projects to be Proud of

Each project this year has reflected what matters most to Wattle Court: design with purpose, homes with heart, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
The team’s North Manly project is a standout, a masterclass in contemporary family design where clean architectural lines meet rich textures and natural warmth. Timber runs as a unifying thread throughout the home, from bespoke joinery to finely detailed flooring, creating calm continuity between spaces. The result is a home that feels both elevated and effortlessly liveable.
In Collaroy, the team completed a particularly special project: a custom-built, disability-accessible home designed for the Wattle Court team’s good friend and her family.
“The Collaroy home means a lot to us,” Melissa says. “It was designed for close friends of ours, and every detail came from a place of care. Seeing it finished, knowing how much it means to that family – that’s what makes what we do so rewarding.”
And then there’s the Palm Springs-inspired home – a bold, boundary-pushing design that has become Wattle Court Sydney North’s landmark showcase. A confident expression of creativity, it signalled the team’s readiness to take on ambitious visions while staying true to the relaxed elegance that defines Northern Beaches living.
A Showcase of Style

For Wattle Court Sydney North, 2025 was also about revitalising the space that inspires each new project they undertake. This year saw the business refresh its Brookvale showroom, a space designed to spark creativity and help clients envision their future home.
“We wanted the showroom to really capture the shifts in design direction that we’ve seen over the last eighteen months or so,” says Finishes Manager Daisy Lawler. “It’s about showing clients all the possibilities of what we can achieve.”
The transformation came together through collaboration with some of the industry’s finest creators, DK Design Kitchens, Cosentino Australia and JL Marble.
“Partnerships like these make all the difference,” Melissa says. “They’re the reason our homes have the level of finish we’re known for. It’s about working with people who care as much about the
details as we do.”
People Behind the Projects
Step behind the green walls of Wattle Court Sydney North’s Brookvale office, and you’ll find a close-knit team of around 21 locals, many of whom have been part of the business for
a decade or more. Their loyalty isn’t luck; it’s the result of a culture built with the same care as every Wattle Court home.
“We’ve built a team that feels like a family,” Melissa says. “There’s a lot of laughter, a lot
of collaboration, and a shared pride in what we do.”
Within this hardworking crew are some of the industry’s most dedicated professionals,
including a strong group of women, from junior team members to management,
whose expertise shapes every stage of the build journey.

Client Successes Worth Celebrating

Perhaps Wattle Court’s success in 2025 isn’t best measured by the number of builds, but the strength of the client relationships.
“We’ve always been proud of the quality of our builds,” Melissa says. “What makes us most proud is that our clients feel that same pride in partnering with us to build their home. They see us as a key part of their journey.”
Alexey and Elena, who completed their build this year, said their decision came down to one thing – trust.
“We considered price and quality,” Alexey said, “but the people came first. This was the company we knew we could believe in.”
The couple spent much of the project travelling across Australia and overseas, but thanks to the team’s seamless communication, they always felt connected.
“The team kept us in the loop at every stage,” Alexey added. “The final product is impressive, but what really stood out was how smoothly they managed a complex project.”
For Clare, a Northern Beaches local, choosing Wattle Court for her knockdown rebuild was an easy decision. From early site assessments to collaborative design meetings, Clare described the process as an efficient joint effort.
“We had built before, and used an architect separate from the builder. Changes could take weeks,” Clare explained. “With Wattle Court, everyone was in the room and we made planning and design decisions together, on the spot.”
“The people who work at Wattle Court clearly love what they do. They’re friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable.”
Community At Heart

Every year, Wattle Court’s story extends well beyond the construction site. In 2025, the company deepened its connection to the community, supporting local sport, education, and social causes.
“Supporting our community is part of who we are,” Melissa says. “We want to support the people who make this area what it is.”
As a major sponsor of the Avalon Bulldogs Rugby League Club, Wattle Court helped fund the A-grade men’s team, which went on to win the 2025 premiership, and sponsored mentoring programs for junior players.
Wattle Court are also proud major sponsors of the recent Barrenjoey Artwalk, helping bring Avalon Village to life as more than 30 shopfronts transformed into gallery-style displays for the community.
The team also continues its longstanding support of Manly Surf Life Saving Club, contributing to lifesaving training and competitions for more than a decade.
Through partnerships with local schools such as North Balgowlah Public School, and sponsorship of the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter, including its inaugural Charity Golf Day, Wattle Court remains committed to strengthening the community it builds within.
Looking Ahead

As Wattle Court Sydney North looks toward 2026, momentum is well and truly on their side, and the team is gearing up for what promises to be one of their biggest years yet.
While knockdown rebuilds remain the foundation of their work, duplex living has fast become an area of growth and innovation.
“This year really solidified our expertise in duplex design,” Melissa says. “We understand what makes them work, from the layout and orientation to the design nuances, and 2026 will be a huge year for us in this space.”
With around half of next year’s scheduled projects set to be duplexes, Wattle Court is doubling down on its reputation as a leader in dual living on the Northern Beaches. To meet growing demand and showcase what’s possible, the team is preparing a duplex showcase project in Freshwater.
The year ahead promises continued growth and evolution, as Wattle Court Sydney North builds on the foundations laid in 2025.
“We’re proud of what we’ve built,” Melissa says, “but even prouder of the relationships behind it. Every home is a reflection of trust, teamwork, and shared vision, and that’s what we’ll keep building on in 2026.” •
