Wattle Court: A Palm Springs Inspired Flagship Showcase Home

To illustrate this dawning of a new era, Wattle Court has celebrated by unveiling a bold and boundary-pushing project – a Palm Springs-inspired flagship home. This mid-century modern masterpiece, designed in collaboration with renowned and super stylish Dani Dean from The Make Haus group, represents a daring new chapter for this custom homebuilding team.

Combining retro aesthetics with modern functionality, the home is a celebration of design innovation with standout features like a pink-toned kitchen, a vibrant butter-yellow bathroom, and the signature use of the ‘lazy arch’ throughout. Daisy Lawler, Finishes Manager, says it is a design departure that signals Wattle Court’s readiness to take on even the most ambitious client visions.

“We really wanted to show what is possible when you step outside the box. This home was a chance for us to take risks, play with bold colours and prove that a great design can push boundaries without losing functionality and all the while keeping a keen eye on budget.”

The heart of the home, a striking pink kitchen inspired by 1960s retro designs, set the tone for the entire project. Crafted using Cosentino’s Dekton Umber, a durable and responsible porcelain material in a unique terracotta hue, the kitchen merges nostalgia with practicality.

Another bold design element is the 'butter bathroom' featuring customised microcement imported from France. It is lush, textural and unique, and Wattle Court can push it over from your wish list to an inclusion with ease.

“Wattle Court listened to everything we wanted in the home, and the bespoke design delivered beyond our expectations. They involved us from beginning to end, promptly catering to our requests and always being available to answer questions. They clearly love what they do, and it reflects in their communication with their clients. Wattle Court is the only way to go!”
