Weekend mornings are busy with the family. Rushing to sport, zooming to extracurriculars. There's no worse time to hear "I'm hungry" from the back seat. The kids are begging for Macca's, but there's a burger in Fairlight that promises more nutrition and satisfaction than a fast food chain.
Cosy. Community. Coffee. That's what The Butchers Cafe offers every day of the week: warm smiles, quality coffee and a charm that's not to be missed in the polite streets of Fairlight. From the first bite of their famous beef burger, to savouring the crumbs of their flavoursome avo toast stack, it's a spot that needs to be your new regular.
The Butchers Cafe boasts quality food, community charm and character that's felt through every meal and coffee. Built on relationships and passion, it's a perfect spot to spend Saturday morning having long conversations over brunch specials or to duck in with hungry kids post-soccer win.
NEW MANAGEMENT, NEW MOMENTUM

The new owner, John Ferguson, has taken on The Butchers Cafe with pride. What started out as him and his family's favourite lunch spot is now his legacy, where he hopes to share the love and charm behind the café with every customer that walks through the door.
"We have been here for over 18 months, but I've been a customer here for 13 to 14 years," shares John. "It's the coffee and lunch that keeps people and myself coming back."
There's a community that supports the café, and they're all well caffeinated and enjoy a smooth blend on the weekend courtesy of Single O Beans. The flavourful blends backed by sustainable practice delivers a memorable and tasty coffee experience. As a community person, John's thrilled with the connection between Single O coffee and the café.
"We started out with Single O coffee well over 10 years ago and it's been an amazing relationship."
A MOREISH MENU

With spring around the corner boasting warm weather and excitement, The Butchers Cafe is about to step up their already excellent menu, offering something for everyone.
Their beef burger, not to be missed. A juicy patty married with fresh, quality ingredients that makes your mouth water before you've even seen it.
"Going into summer, we are looking to evolve the menu, keeping the old favourites but adding another new level to our food and presentation," promises John.
Old favourites, new flavours and reliable coffee keep customers rolling through the door. It's energising just being there, laughing with the staff, people watching and indulging in your morning coffee treat or delicious lunch.
It's been passed down through close connections, community and family, but the new chapter is full of excitement, whilst continuing the fan faves.
Next time you're darting past, pull in. Your new cosy regular is just around the corner at The Butchers Cafe. The coffee's already on.
