he stories behind the world’s most iconic rock legends are stepping out from behind the camera and onto the stage at Glen Street Theatre.
On Friday 13 March 2026, the theatre presents Through the Lens of Tony Mott, in collaboration with Fish Out a’ Water Productions and Creative Galah.
For decades, acclaimed Australian photographer Tony Mott has captured the raw pulse of rock and roll, from sold-out stadiums to the quiet moments backstage. Now, he’s sharing the stories behind the shots.
This is a front-row seat to music history, told by the man who was there when it happened. Expect candid insights, behind-the-scenes chaos, career-defining triumphs and the wild energy that shaped an era. Through Mott’s lens, legends like Madonna and The Rolling Stones come into sharp focus, not just as icons, but as real people in unforgettable moments.
Running for approximately 90 minutes with no interval, the evening concludes with a short Q&A, giving audiences the chance to hear even more from one of Australia’s most celebrated music photographers.
