This weekend, the Jack McCoy Australian Surf Film Fest is honouring the life of Merc Psillakis by donating all profits from tickets and auction items to his family.

For the past two years, Jack McCoy had been creating the inaugural Jack McCoy Australian Surf Film Fest as his legacy for the global surf community, uniting the surf industry and celebrating surf culture. Before his passing, Jack curated his Top 20 surf films of all time, from the 1950s to today, with one mission:
