Whale Beach Rockpool is a 25 metre pool at the southern end of the beach, reached from The Strand. Change rooms and toilets are on site.
It is a relaxed spot with BBQs, a playground and amenities close by, which suits families settling in for the day. At 25 metres it is a manageable length for younger swimmers building confidence.
Pay and display parking is available. Go early on a calm day, swim a few laps, then fire up a BBQ.
