A popular Pittwater foreshore off-leash area at Bayview with access to tidal sand flats for paddling dogs.
Rowland Reserve is a Pittwater favourite. The off-leash area takes in the adjacent tidal sand flats, so water-loving dogs get to wade, chase and roll in the shallows.
It sits beside the Bayview boat ramp, with toilets in the carpark and seating for owners who prefer to watch from dry land.
Check the tide before you go. Low tide opens up the flats and gives dogs the most room to roam. Pack a towel for the car ride home, because they will come back muddy and happy.
