A wild 25 metre rockpool at the tip of the North Curl Curl headland, reached by the coastal walk at high tide.
North Curl Curl Rockpool is a 25 metre pool near the end of the headland at the northern end of the beach. It feels remote because it is: at high tide, the only way in is the coastal walk over the headland.
Council does not clean this pool because access is so difficult, so it is rougher around the edges than its neighbours. That is part of the appeal.
Time your visit for low tide and calm seas. It suits strong swimmers and snorkellers more than small kids.
