Short, flat and spectacular. Fairfax Walk is a 1km paved loop at the end of North Head Scenic Drive, and it delivers some of the best views in Sydney for very little effort.

Yiningma Lookout faces the open ocean. Burragula Lookout looks across the harbour to the city skyline. Both have benches, and whales cruise past during the migration season.

NSW National Parks rates it Grade 1, and it takes 30 minutes to an hour. It is step-free and wheelchair accessible, so it suits families with young kids, prams and anyone who wants the view without the climb. Go early morning or late afternoon for the light.
