A castle-themed inclusive playground beside Narrabeen Lagoon, complete with drawbridge, moat, dragon's lair and fairy garden.
Locals know it as the castle park. Berry Reserve's inclusive playspace beside the Tramshed Arts and Community Centre has a sandstone turret entry, a drawbridge over a moat with crocodiles, a medieval castle, village shops and a dragon's lair.
The major pieces were designed for children of a range of abilities, with an accessible castle and tower, swings, trampolines, sensory and tactile elements and a forest and fairy garden. A heritage-listed fig and big date palms frame it all.
The Narrabeen Lagoon shared path runs right past, so bring scooters. Come on the third Sunday of the month and catch the market in Berry Reserve too.
