Big views, no climb. Arabanoo Lookout sits at Dobroyd Head in Sydney Harbour National Park, with a sweep across North Head, South Head, Manly and the open Pacific.
A flat concrete path runs from Dobroyd Head Scenic Drive to the platform, where a stone bench and historical signs wait. It is a great spot for whale watching, and the Manly Scenic Walkway passes nearby, as do tracks to Grotto Point Lighthouse and Reef Beach.
It suits everyone, from prams to grandparents. Toilets are next door at Tania Park. Come for sunrise or bring a thermos in whale season.
