Now in its 33rd year, the Ocean Festival celebrates the 5 marine protected areas on the Beaches, the biodiversity below the water and on our rock platforms – our marine flora, fauna and mega fauna.

Our oceans cover 71% of our planet, generates 50% of the oxygen we breathe and absorb 25% of all carbon dioxide emissions – we need to keep our oceans healthy.

Events include the Underwater Photography Competition Exhibition, Marine Talks, Meet the Friends of Cabbage Tree Bay, Ocean Photography Sessions, Open-Air Cinema plus much more!
