Figures alone, figures together, leaning in and pulling away. Clare Dubina's In Relation is showing at Michael Reid Northern Beaches in Brookvale until Thursday 29 October.

Dubina has long used the human figure not to portray particular people but to explore emotion, identity, vulnerability and connection. This body of work looks at moments of closeness, distance and support, and at her own long relationship with the figure; a culmination of years of work that also hints at where she heads next.

Free entry. Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
