Free music festival Good Day Out returns to 7th Day Brewery in Brookvale on Saturday 28 November, with 11 bands across two stages raising money for Surfers for Climate.
Two stages. Eleven bands. Pizza, face paint and a raffle for a surf trip to Sumatra. And it won’t cost you a cent.
Brookvale’s free music festival, Good Day Out, is back at 7th Day Brewery on Saturday 28 November, bigger and louder for its second year. From midday until late, the brewery turns into a two-stage live music takeover with 11 bands plus DJs, and every dollar raised goes to Surfers for Climate.
Curated by The Good Kids, the line-up features The Good Kids, Surf Trash, Goons Of Doom, Good Sniff, The Darrans, Ghazza, The Blamers, The Bleeding Lizzards, T.F.O.E., Scatterlight and Bingo Night, plus DJs throughout the day.
It’s all ages until 8pm (under-18s with a guardian), then 18+ into the night. From midday there are face painters, balloonists, an ice cream stall, kids’ arcade machines and a free photo booth, plus an all-day pizza kitchen and coffee bar, and pop-ups from Boarders Skate Shop, Gravey Lane and World’s End DIY Sunglasses.
Grab a raffle ticket for a shot at a Secret Sumatra surf trip, with all proceeds going to Surfers for Climate. Last year’s Good Day Out raised over $20,000; this year the target is $30,000.
