Harvey Galleries welcomes acclaimed Australian landscape artist Christopher Lees for his latest exhibition, The Last Resort.

Inspired by Lees’ return to his Victorian bush property following recent fires, the collection explores a landscape changed not only by fire and regeneration, but by memory and experience. Familiar Australian scenes take on a slightly surreal quality, with shifting horizons, exaggerated forms and Lees’ distinctive use of colour capturing the resilience and mystery of the bush.
