Brookvale Halloween Festival

The Brookvale Halloween Festival is back for a fourth year, run by the Brookvale Public School P&C and built for families who want to get the costumes on early.

The afternoon runs on carnival games and activities: face painting, hair colouring, paint a pumpkin, wand making, potion creation, an inflatable, the Haunted Hall and a long list of side-show games including Splat the Rat, Ghostbowlers, Bucket Dunk and the Wheel of Misfortune. Main stage performances run through the afternoon, food trucks and stalls line the grounds, and a Haunted Disco starts at 5.30pm.

Entry is $2 a head. Family bundles cover entry for up to six people plus 20 game tickets and a raffle ticket, at $45 presale until noon Friday 16 October, then $50 until noon Friday 23 October. Game tickets are $2.50 each or $40 for twenty. Pre-purchased tickets can be collected at the school the week before, or at the main gate from 2pm on the day.

Main entry is the Pencil Gate on the corner of Alfred Road and Pittwater Road, next to Brookvale Community Centre. The school grounds are for vendors only, so street parking on Alfred Road is the go.
