The Big Book Walk: A Picture Book Brought to Life

Step inside a picture book at this beautiful immersive exhibition at Curl Curl Creative Space. Local author-illustrator Kim de Haan brings her story Oh, Esme! to life through illustration, sculpture and hands-on narrative elements, offering a rare glimpse into the creative process behind making a picture book.

Free public storytimes run on weekends at 11am, 12pm and 1pm — no bookings needed, all ages welcome. School groups can book a guided 45-minute session by contacting Kim at bykimdehaan@gmail.com.

Open Tuesday 27 October to Sunday 8 November. Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 9:30am–2:30pm; Sat & Sun 10am–4pm. Closed Wednesdays.
